Cancellation Policy

THE SOCIAL HOST LLC – DEFAULT BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY By processing a reservation or securing a date, participants agree to the following: BOOKING & PAYMENT POLICY 1.1 Design Deposit Waiver: A $200 professional design deposit is required to launch custom blueprint curation. This fee is automatically waived for verified corporate email domains. For unverified domains, the $200 fee applies at checkout and is credited in full toward your final event balance upon proposal acceptance. 1.2 Booking Deposit: Upon blueprint approval, a 50% booking deposit is invoiced to secure local transit assets and launch firm vendor commitments. Payment is due within 5 business days. Event dates and logistics networks are not held until this deposit is received. 1.3 Final Balance: The remaining 50% balance is issued via a single, procurement-compliant invoice and is due 14 business days before your event date. 1.4 Cancellations: Paid $200 design deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations after paying the 50% booking deposit are subject to the following terms: • 30+ days' notice: Deposit refunded in full. • 15–30 days' notice: 50% of deposit is forfeited. • Under 15 days' notice: Deposit forfeited in full CONSUMER EVENTS • Consumer ticketed events are individually curated and sold on a per-event basis. Tickets are non-refundable but transferable up to 24 hours prior to the event date. ALCOHOL & COMPLIANCE • The Social Host LLC does not sell, serve, or procure alcohol. Any mixology experience is structured as an educational hospitality activity — glassware and technique only. If your event includes alcohol service, you are responsible for engaging a licensed Utah provider. Alcohol is available only to guests aged 21 and over. WEATHER & LIABILITY • 4.1 Weather and Closures: Events cancelled due to declared severe weather, government-ordered closures, or other force majeure events as defined in The Social Host LLC's Terms and Conditions will result in corporate vouchers valid for 12 months in lieu of cash refunds. A liability acknowledgment is included in the intake form.
